Color Logic
Privacy Policy

TechnoBevy · Effective date: 7 October 2026 · Last updated: 7 October 2026

In short: Color Logic is a color-and-shape sorting game for young children. It has no accounts and never asks for a name, email address or any other personal details. Progress stays on the device. The app shows ads from Google AdMob that are set up for children: every ad request is marked as directed to children, ads are not personalised and are limited to content suitable for general audiences, and the app does not use the device’s advertising ID. The app also uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand, in aggregated reports, how the game is played. TechnoBevy does not run a server for the app.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

This policy describes how the Color Logic app for Android (package com.brainversekids.colorlogic) handles information. The app is developed and published by TechnoBevy (“we”, “us”) under the BrainVerse Kids name.

This policy applies only to Color Logic. Other TechnoBevy and BrainVerse Kids apps have their own privacy policies. When you find, download or update the app on Google Play, Google processes information under Google’s privacy policy.

2. Made for children and families

Color Logic is designed for children aged about 4 to 12 and their families, and is published under Google Play’s Families policy. We do not ask children for personal information, and we do not knowingly collect it. A short arithmetic question (a parental gate) protects the Settings area for grown-ups, which holds the Sound effects, Haptics and Reduce motion settings and a link to this policy.

3. Information we do not collect

Color Logic:

  • has no accounts, sign-in or user profiles that leave the device;
  • does not ask for a name, email address, phone number or other contact details;
  • does not access location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, calls or files on the device;
  • has no chat, messaging or user-generated content;
  • does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions;
  • does not use the device’s advertising ID; and
  • does not connect to any server operated by TechnoBevy.

4. Information stored only on the device

The app keeps the following in its private storage on the device. It is not sent to us.

Stored itemWhy
Stars earned on each puzzle, the places opened on the map, a skill score for each place, and running totals of puzzles solved, stars earned and time playedTo show progress, open the next places and adjust difficulty to how your child plays
Settings: sound effects, haptics and reduce motionTo remember the choices made in Settings
A generic player profile: the name “Player”, a default picture, a fixed number, a default age band, the date it was created and other built-in defaultsTo hold the progress above. It is not an account, and the child never fills it in

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows a banner ad in a band at the bottom of the Rainbow Valley map. It may also show a full-screen ad when a puzzle’s results screen is left, at most once every three solved puzzles and at most once every three minutes. There are no ads during a puzzle, on a place’s list of puzzles, in Settings or when the app starts. The ads are provided by Google AdMob, which takes part in Google Play’s Families Ads Program.

The app sets up every ad request for a young audience:

  • each request is marked as directed to children (child-directed treatment);
  • only non-personalised ads are requested, so ads are not based on a child’s interests or past behaviour;
  • ads are limited to content rated suitable for general audiences (G); and
  • the permissions that would give access to the advertising ID and to Android’s ad interest topics and ad measurement services are removed from the app.

To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, Google’s ad software in the app collects and shares with Google:

  • the device’s IP address, which can indicate approximate location;
  • information about how the app and its ads are used, such as ad views and taps;
  • diagnostic information about the app’s and the ad software’s performance; and
  • device information such as the device model and Android version, and an app set ID.

This information is encrypted in transit and handled by Google under Google’s privacy policy. See also how Google uses information from apps that use its services. If an ad is tapped, the advertiser’s website or app handles the visit under its own privacy policy.

The game works fully offline. Without an internet connection no ads are loaded, and every puzzle is still playable.

6. Usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

The app includes Google Analytics for Firebase. It records basic usage events automatically, such as the first time the app is opened, app sessions and app updates; automatic screen tracking is turned off. The app also records game events: the app being opened, a puzzle being started and solved (with the puzzle, its place, the time played, stars, score and hints used), each sorting move (which shape, whether it went in the right basket and how many tries the puzzle has taken), difficulty changes and newly opened places, changes made in Settings (sound effects, haptics and reduce motion) and whether the parental gate was answered correctly. It also records when ads are requested and shown. With these events Google collects:

  • an app instance ID created by Firebase;
  • device model, Android version, language and app version;
  • approximate location (country, region or city), derived by Google from the IP address; and
  • how the app was found on Google Play (the Google Play install referrer).

Analytics does not collect the advertising ID or the Android ID, and its ad-related features (ad storage, ad user data and ad personalisation signals) are turned off. Events never include a name, contact details or anything typed into the app. We use this information only in aggregated reports, to see how many people play, which puzzles are too easy or too hard, and which devices to support. Google processes it under the Firebase privacy and security terms and Google’s privacy policy.

7. How information is shared

We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only with Google, as the provider of ads (section 5) and usage statistics (section 6). The app does not ask for ratings or reviews. The Privacy policy link in Settings opens this page in the web browser.

8. Device permissions

PermissionWhat it is used for
Internet and network state (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE)To load ads and send usage statistics.
Vibration (VIBRATE)Gentle haptic feedback during play. It can be turned off with Haptics in Settings.
Audio settings (MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS)Added by the app’s sound library so that sound effects play correctly alongside other audio.

The app’s sound library and Google’s ad and analytics software also add technical permissions that they need to work: briefly keeping the device awake and running short background tasks to send data (WAKE_LOCK, FOREGROUND_SERVICE), and reading how the app was installed from Google Play (BIND_GET_INSTALL_REFERRER_SERVICE). The app also declares an internal Android permission that is used only for communication within the app itself. None of the app’s permissions gives it access to location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, files or the advertising ID.

9. How long information is kept, and how to delete it

  • On the device: progress and settings are kept until they are deleted. To delete them, clear the app’s storage in the device’s settings, or uninstall the app. If Android backup is turned on for the device’s Google account, Android may back up progress and settings and restore them when the app is reinstalled.
  • Advertising data: Google keeps ad data under its own retention policies.
  • Usage statistics: Google Analytics deletes event data linked to an app instance ID automatically at the end of the retention period set in our Firebase project (Google’s default is 2 months). Aggregated reports do not identify anyone.

The app has no accounts, so there is no account to delete. If you have a question about deletion, contact us (section 13).

10. Security

Progress is kept in the app’s private storage, which Android isolates from other apps. Google’s ad and analytics software sends its data to Google over encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect the information the app handles.

11. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to or limit how it is used. Because the app does not send us personal information, most requests are handled on the device (section 9) or with Google for ad and analytics data (sections 5 and 6). Parents and guardians can also contact us with any question about their child’s information, and we will respond within the time the law requires.

12. Changes to this policy

If the way Color Logic handles information changes, we will update this policy before or at the same time as the change, and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
