Rainbow Routes
Privacy Policy

TechnoBevy · Effective date: 5 October 2026 · Last updated: 5 October 2026

In short: Rainbow Routes is a puzzle game where you connect matching coloured dots. It has no accounts and does not ask for any personal details. Your progress stays on your device. The app shows ads from Google AdMob, uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played, and uses Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports. Google collects some device and usage information for these services. Where the law requires it, the app asks for your consent before ads are requested, and you can change your choice in the game’s settings. TechnoBevy does not run a server for the app and sees only aggregated usage reports and crash reports.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

This policy describes how the Rainbow Routes app for Android (package com.technobevy.rainbowroutes) handles information. The app is developed and published by TechnoBevy ("we", "us").

This policy applies only to Rainbow Routes. Other TechnoBevy apps have their own privacy policies. When you find, download or update the app on Google Play, Google processes information under Google’s privacy policy.

2. Information we do not collect

Rainbow Routes:

  • has no accounts, sign-in or user profiles;
  • does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or other contact details;
  • does not access your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, calls or your own files;
  • has no chat, messaging or user-generated content;
  • does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions; and
  • does not connect to any server operated by TechnoBevy.

3. Information stored only on your device

The app keeps the following in its private storage on your device. It is not sent to us.

Stored itemWhy
Which levels you have completed, and your best (fewest) moves for each levelTo show your progress and best moves, and to let you continue to the next level
Your sound and vibration settingsTo remember your choices
How many times the app has been opened, the date you first used it, and whether you asked not to be remindedTo decide when to show the “rate this app” reminder
Your ad consent choice, where a consent form is shown (stored by Google’s consent software)To respect your choice on later visits

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows banner ads on the pack selection, level selection and game screens. After every 10 completed levels it may show a full-screen ad when you leave the level-complete screen. The ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, Google’s ad software in the app collects and shares with Google:

  • your device’s IP address, which can indicate your approximate location;
  • information about how you interact with the app and with ads;
  • diagnostic information about the app’s and the ad software’s performance; and
  • device identifiers, such as your device’s advertising ID and app set ID.

This information is encrypted in transit. Google may use it to show ads based on your interests, and handles it under Google’s privacy policy. See also how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Your choices:

  • In regions where consent is required (for example the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), the app shows Google’s consent form before ads are requested. You can change your choice at any time: on the game screen, tap the settings button, then Privacy options.
  • You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device’s Android settings (usually under Privacy → Ads, or Google → Ads).
  • The game works fully offline. Without an internet connection no ads are loaded, and every level is still playable.

5. Usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

The app includes Google Analytics for Firebase. It automatically records basic usage events, such as the first time the app is opened, app sessions, screens viewed and app updates. The app also records game events: which pack and level you choose, when you complete a level and how many moves it took, and taps on buttons such as sound, vibration, share and rate. With these events Google collects:

  • an app instance ID created by Firebase, and your device’s advertising ID;
  • device model, Android version, language and app version;
  • approximate location (country, region or city), derived by Google from your IP address; and
  • how the app was found on Google Play (the Google Play install referrer).

We use this only to see, in aggregated reports, how many people play, which levels are too easy or too hard, and which Android versions and devices to support. We do not use it to identify you. Google processes this information under the Firebase privacy and security terms and Google’s privacy policy.

6. Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics sends a crash report to Google so that we can find and fix the problem. A crash report contains:

  • technical details of the error, and the state of the app when it crashed;
  • information about the device at that moment, such as its model, Android version and available memory;
  • a random installation ID created by Crashlytics, used to count how many people a crash affects; and
  • the usage events from section 5 that were recorded just before the crash.

Crash reports do not include your name, contact details or anything you type. Google processes them under the Firebase privacy and security terms.

7. How information is shared

We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only with Google, as the provider of ads (section 4), usage statistics (section 5) and crash reports (section 6).

The app also asks Google Play whether a newer version is available. If there is one, Google Play offers to download and install it. Google Play handles this under Google’s privacy policy, and we do not receive any information about it.

The Rate Us button opens Google Play. Share opens Android’s share menu with a short message and a link to the app on Google Play; the app you choose to share with receives that text under its own privacy policy. The Privacy Policy link opens this page in your web browser. If you tap an ad, the advertiser’s website or app handles your visit under its own privacy policy.

8. Device permissions

PermissionWhat it is used for
Internet and network state (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE)To load ads and send usage statistics and crash reports, and to check whether you are online before showing ads.
Vibration (VIBRATE)For short vibration feedback while you play, only if you turn vibration on (it is off by default).
Advertising ID and ad services (AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS)Added by Google’s ad software for showing and measuring ads, as described in section 4.

Google’s ad and analytics software also adds technical permissions that it needs to work: briefly keeping the device awake and running short background tasks to send data (WAKE_LOCK, FOREGROUND_SERVICE), and reading how the app was installed from Google Play (BIND_GET_INSTALL_REFERRER_SERVICE). The app also declares an internal Android permission that is used only for communication within the app itself. None of the app’s permissions gives it access to your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or files.

9. How long information is kept, and how to delete it

  • On your device: your progress and settings are kept until you delete them. You can remove them by clearing the app’s storage in your device settings, or by uninstalling the app. If Android backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may back up your progress and restore it when you reinstall.
  • Advertising data: Google keeps ad data under its own retention policies. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings.
  • Usage statistics: Google Analytics deletes event data linked to an app instance ID or advertising ID automatically at the end of the retention period set in our Firebase project (Google’s default is 2 months). Aggregated reports do not identify anyone.
  • Crash reports: Crashlytics keeps crash reports and their installation IDs for 90 days.

The app has no accounts, so there is no account to delete. If you have a question about deletion, contact us (section 14).

10. Children

Rainbow Routes is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

Your progress is kept in the app’s private storage, which Android isolates from other apps. Google’s ad, analytics and crash-reporting software sends its data to Google over encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect the information the app handles.

12. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to or limit how it is used. Because the app does not send us personal information, most requests are handled on your device (section 9), with the in-game Privacy options (section 4), or with Google for ad, analytics and crash data (sections 4 to 6). For anything else, contact us and we will respond within the time the law requires.

13. Changes to this policy

If the way Rainbow Routes handles information changes, we will update this policy before or at the same time as the change, and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

14. Contact us

If you have questions about this policy or about Rainbow Routes, please contact TechnoBevy at technobevysolutions@gmail.com.
